A Manual of Traditional Games was developed as part of the MOVE project1, implemented by Terre des hommes in three countries in Eastern Europe: Romania, Moldova and Albania. It contains 15 traditional games. They are designed to be played by children aged 4 to 14.

Every game contains the following information:

• The country of origin of the game.
• The goals of the game.
• The abilities developed at a mental, emotional and physical level.
• The materials when required.
• The organisation and rules.
