Mental Health | What Can Children Do?

At Children for Health, we believe that children can do a great deal to build their own social and emotional resilience and help others too. But they need specific time and opportunities to do this and educators confident to facilitate actives and sessions that can help.

When involved in Sierra Leone post-Ebola we worked with educators and co-created our Safe, Strong and Smiling Programme. We have a storybook, A Stone is a Strange Thing (about Loss and Grief) and we have a poster (second edition) and in three languages which outline simple life skills messages to go along the more health orientated messages.

All of these, and MUCH more, can be downloaded free from our resources section.

We are fundraising to do more work on young adolescent well-being and resilience and when we are ready we would welcome partnerships with those of you already working in this field.
