A Mazing Treasures

A Mazing Treasures is a story about a group of friends some of whom live with disabilities of different kinds. The friends who try to help, however well-intentioned, find that they are not helping but making their friends feel small and frustrated. The magical parrots, ZuZu and ZaZa take them all on a magical adventure where the strengths and weakness of the children are revealed. The need for all children to show empathy, curiosity and good listening is emphasised. The storybook is aimed at children aged 9-14 and is for children of this age group to read to younger children. In the back of the storybook there is an activity section with lots of questions and fun activities for teachers and older children to use.
