My Hero

My Hero is a story on the theme of Type 2 Diabetes. It is about two children Queenie and Harry who strike up an unlikely friendship because Queenie listened when Harry needed to talk. Queenie helps Harry as he encounters tragedy and difficult personal choices and along the way Harry helps Queenie too. This storybook is aimed at children aged 9-14 and is for children of this age to read to younger children. In the back of the storybook there is an activity section with lots of questions and fun activities for teachers and older children to use.
