Message from our Founder

Empowering children to become agents of change

Children have an extraordinary capacity to learn, share knowledge, and inspire change within their families and communities. This belief has guided my work throughout my career.

As the Founder and Director of Children for Health (CFH), I have led initiatives that helped bring essential health knowledge directly to children and their families. Together with our partners and educators around the world, we have:

  • Reached more than 200,000 families globally with practical health education.

  • Received the Small Charity Big Achiever Award and the Global Impact Award. (Read More)

  • Supported the Mozambique government in adopting our innovative nutrition programme at the national level. (Read More)

For more than 38 years, I have worked in international education and development, collaborating with organisations such as UNICEF, UNESCO, Save the Children, and the UBS Optimus Foundation. My journey began in the classroom, teaching in Kenya and Hong Kong, where I saw first-hand how powerful education can be when children are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and share what they learn.

In 2013, I founded Children for Health with a simple but powerful idea: if children understand how to stay healthy, they will share that knowledge with their families, schools, and communities. Our work focuses on creating practical, engaging tools that make health education accessible and meaningful for children everywhere.
