We’re pleased to introduce Akthar Hussain, who recently joined the Children for Health Board of Trustees.
Akthar brings nearly 20 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, across the UK and internationally, with expertise spanning strategic leadership, organisational development, governance, innovation and partnership working.
Throughout his career, he has supported organisations through growth, transformation and regulatory improvement, with a strong focus on bringing people and organisations together to create sustainable improvements in health and wellbeing.
Akthar also serves as Chair-Elect of Mind in Croydon and brings valuable board leadership and governance experience to Children for Health.
His commitment to strong partnerships, innovation and empowering children, young people and communities to play an active role in their health strongly aligns with our work and ambitions for the future.
