SuperBetter Children for Health Update

Learning about health. Building the confidence to lead.

Through our SuperBetter Children for Health project in Zambia, children explore health and well-being, develop leadership skills and share what they learn through school-based Thrive Clubs.

On 15 October, 2026 10 teachers and 10 student leaders from 10 schools in Isoka District came together to try practical activities, explore the toolkit and begin planning for their schools.

Co-created with children and teachers in Zambia, the approach uses play, discussion, storytelling and action. Children contribute ideas and take on leadership roles, with teachers providing guidance and support.

This training marks a step towards regular school activities. We will follow how schools put their plans into practice and document what children and teachers learn along the way.

Thank you to our local implementing partner, Phoenix Foundation, for facilitating the training and supporting participating schools.
