We are delighted to announce the appointment of Emma Hutchinson MA FRSA as Chair of Children for Health.
Emma has served as a Trustee of Children for Health since 2022 and now steps into the role of Chair, bringing with her a wealth of experience in education, creativity, governance, and leadership.
An entrepreneurial early childhood music specialist, educator, author, and composer with more than 30 years of experience, Emma is the Founder of Music House Education and Co-Founder of Bush Hall. Throughout her career, she has championed the role of creativity in children’s learning and development, with particular expertise in SEND music and curriculum programmes for very young children that nurture communication and language through musical storytelling.
Alongside her creative achievements, Emma brings valuable experience in content distribution, charitable governance, and strategic leadership. Most importantly, she shares Children for Health’s belief that children and young people are not passive recipients of information, but active participants and agents of change within their families, schools, and communities.
As we continue to grow our work empowering children with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to improve health and wellbeing, we are excited to have Emma’s leadership guiding the next chapter of our journey.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Joshua George for his leadership and commitment as Interim Chair during this important period of transition. His steady guidance and support have helped strengthen the organisation and position us for the future. We are grateful for his continued contribution to Children for Health.
Please join us in congratulating Emma on her appointment as Chair.
