Third Sector Award | Small Charity Big Achiever | 20th September 2018

Children for Health’s outstanding global impact was recognized at the Third Sector Awards when it won the Small Charity, Big Achiever category. Clare Hanbury, founder and CEO, was at the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square pick up the award.

“I am honoured and humbled we won this award. I’m lucky to have spent much of my working life doing work that I love and it is more than I hoped for that our charity has received this recognition.”

MCM Net sponsored the Small Charity, Big Achiever category and the CEO, John McMahon presented the award.

“We specifically chose this award because it resonates with our own beliefs; size really does not matter, if you believe in what you are doing and are passionate about helping, a small number of people can make a profound difference.”

This award really means a lot to us. It’s so difficult for small organisations like us to ‘compete’ with the big agencies when they have professional fund-raising departments.

But we did it! We’ve proved that what we are doing is worthwhile and we are having an impact on the lives of many thousands of children.
